Molecular sieve concept:

Adsorption Principle:

The adsorption of substances by molecular sieves is due to physical adsorption (van der Waals forces). The internal cavities of the crystals have strong polarity and Coulomb fields, which exhibit strong adsorption capabilities for polar molecules (such as water) and unsaturated molecules.
Sieve function: The pore size distribution of molecular sieves is very uniform. Only substances with a molecular diameter smaller than the diameter of the pores can enter the cavities of the molecular sieve.
