An amphibious excavator (amphibious excavator) is a specialized excavation equipment designed for land, swampy soft ground, and shallow water areas. Its core function is to achieve stable construction in complex soft foundations and land-water interface environments where conventional tracked excavators cannot operate.

I. Core Operational Functions

1. 1.Dredging and Desilting: Directly enters waterways, lakes, ponds, tidal flats, and other water bodies to perform mud excavation, underwater obstacle removal, and cofferdam demolition without the need for prior dewatering or temporary cofferdam construction, achieving significantly higher efficiency than traditional dry dredging methods.
2. 2.Multi-scenario Excavation: Suitable for trench excavation, terrain leveling, and pond bottom modification in wetlands, swamps, and soft soil areas, as well as special working conditions such as coastline resource development and oil & gas pipeline laying.
3. 3.Attachment Expansion Operations: By swapping attachments such as long arm, hydraulic breaker, vibratory pile hammer, wood grapple, and dredging pump, the machine can be extended to applications including breaking, piling, timber handling, and material pumping, meeting diverse needs in water conservancy, municipal works, aquaculture, disaster relief, and more.

II. Core Structural Support

The amphibious excavator consists of three parts: the upper excavator, central travel frame, and lower pontoon. The pontoon is manufactured from Q345B steel, offering low ground pressure and high buoyancy, enabling stable floating and operation in water depths of 0.5 to 2 meters. Some models support quick interchange of tracks and pontoons, accommodating both land and water construction needs.
